The City of Glendora is excited to announce an opportunity to join our newly launched Community Impact Team as a Crime Analyst. This vital role supports law enforcement operations through real-time data collection and analysis, directly contributing to community safety and informed decision-making. Working in this role, the Crime Analyst monitors camera feeds, license plate readers, and law enforcement databases to deliver timely, actionable intelligence to officers during rapidly evolving incidents. Be a part of a forward-thinking team dedicated to proactive policing and meaningful community impact.

Under general supervision, performs a variety of difficult and complex professional and analytical assignments providing pertinent information relative to crime patterns, trend correlations, and real time analytics to assist operational and administrative personnel in the Police Department. Collects, analyzes, and disseminates statistics; performs systematic and analytical processes directed at planning the deployment of resources for preventing and suppressing criminal activities, aiding the investigative process, increasing apprehensions, clearing cases, and analyzing information to identify similarities, patterns, and trends among different offenses to assist in identifying suspects and predicting criminal activity, and performs other related duties, as assigned.
