Experience:
Three (3) years of related experience conducting intelligence analysis in a federal agency, including:
The Department of Homeland Security (DHS), National Operations Center (NOC), or Department of Justice (DOJ) - OR-
A state or local law enforcement intelligence unit - OR -
The United States military, with experience in counterterrorism and intelligence, including international terrorism, domestic terrorism, transportation security, weapons of mass destruction, cyber threats, agro-terrorism, public health, anti-terrorism or force protection, crucial infrastructure protection, policy development, and acting as a public safety liaison.
Note: Credit for experience is given based on a 40-hour workweek. Part-time experience is credited on a part-time ratio, i.e., working 20 hours per week for two months equals one month of experience. No additional credit is given for overtime.

The ideal addition to the team would be able to work independently, under general direction; be familiar with LE systems such as ViCAP, Cal Photo, Coplink, and other databases; have investigative experience in homicide, assault and missing persons cases.
